Stats
GPA Teacher provides automatically generated graphs and statistics for your classes, including grade reports organized by final grade, category, standards, and assignment. Click on the
Stats icon from the
Navigation Bar at the top of your window to view such statistics. You may also click on the
Stats link for one of your classes.
The current graph and its corresponding numerical statistics are shown in the left-hand side of your window. To view other graphs and statistics, select from the options shown in the right-hand side of your window. As you make your selections, the graphs and statistics automatically update.
Final Grade Mode
Selecting a
Final Grade mode shows a graph depicting the number of students who earned each letter grade. You can select either an
Assignments mode or a
Standards mode. In both cases, the statistics below the resulting graph reveal the average and standard deviation, as well as the minimum and maximum grades.
Category Mode
Selecting the
Category mode allows you to break down the data based on the grading categories. As above, the statistics below the graph show the average and standard deviation, as well as the minimum and maximum grades. Note that you can select each grading category from the
Categories options (on the right-hand side of your window) and the graph and statistics will automatically update.
Assignment Mode
Selecting the
Assignment mode allows you to view the data based on each assignment. As above, the statistics below the graph show the average and standard deviation, as well as the minimum and maximum grades. You can select each assignment from the
Assignments options (on the right-hand side of your window) and the graph and statistics will automatically update.
Standard Mode
Selecting the
Standard mode enables you to view the data based on your defined standards. Similar to the above modes, the statistics below the graph show the average and standard deviation, as well as the minimum and maximum effort grades. You can further focus your selection by choosing a specific standard from the
Standards options (on the right-hand side of your window) and the graph and statistics will automatically update.
